Warm Blessings has participated in the Heartland parade the past two years and had two booths at the Heartland Festival for the past three years; an information booth and a dunking booth. We thank all of the volunteers who walked in the parade, manned the information booth and those who were brave enough to be dunked in the dunking booth.

Warm Blessings has partnered with local agencies to provide donations of toys, blankets, and clothing to Warm Blessings patrons, Head Start parents, to persons receiving assistance from the domestic violence shelter, and to nearby resource centers.

Since opening in 2006 Warm Blessings has served both Thanksgiving and Christmas meals with all the trimmings of the season.  Santa also visited with the children this past Christmas and gave out goodie bags to each child.

Warm Blessings has had two successful Cardboard Nation fundraisers, one in 2008 and the second in 2009. Then on September 18, 2009, we had 133 volunteers sleep in cardboard boxes on the Elizabethtown Community and Technical College (ECTC) Campus and raised close to $15,000 for Warm Blessings. This exceeded the 2008 Cardboard Nation donations which totaled almost $12,000. We thank the community for their support.

Warm Blessings also hosts a yearly Scrapbook Retreat fundraiser every September. This past year's crop was  Friday, September 11, 2009 through Sunday, September 13, 2009 at the Holiday Inn Express in Elizabethtown: three days of fun, food, and fellowship with other scrapbooking fanatics, and several thousands of dollars were raised for Warm Blessings.

If you have ideas for future fundraisers or would like to be involved in future fundraiser or volunteer efforts, please call (270) 769-9276 (WARM).
